Join Maine’s Cultural Organizations Email Listserv
This is a great opportunity to hear important updates from colleagues and to get answers to nagging questions. Intended for archives, museum, historical society, preservation, arts, library, etc., organizations, their professional staff and active volunteers, the Maine Cultural Organization Listserv is an email-based discussion forum. If you’re not familiar with listservs, it’s a way of sending an email to lots of people at the same time. As a member, you will receive messages sent by other members of the list. You can read, ignore, or respond to the whole list or to the sender individually.
You need to subscribe before you can send and receive listserv messages. To subscribe, point your web browser to lists.maine.edu/cgi-bin/wa?GETPW1. Enter the email address you wish to use, a password, and follow the directions. Then, whenever you send mail to MCULTR-L@lists.maine.edu, all subscribers will see your message and will be able to respond to the list in general or to your address individually.
