Roundtable Discussion: Strategic Planning Best Practices

Start out the new year strong by learning and sharing strategic planning best practices with your MAM peers. Topics covered will include everything from getting started, narrowing down organizational priorities, having difficult conversations with stakeholders, how to breathe new life into an existing plan, recognizing “mission drift” and course-correcting stakeholders who are off track, when and how to review the plan as an organization, and other questions and best practices that attendees bring to the roundtable.

About the Facilitator: Katie Orlando has served as the Executive Director for Seashore Trolley Museum (Kennebunkport) for seven seasons. She has led her organization through one complete strategic planning process from start to finish from 2018-2024, and is navigating the museum through its next process now.
