NEMA Announces Member Benefit Programs
 

After more than a year of planning and development, NEMA is launching a number of new benefits for its members.

Discounted Guaranteed Life Insurance  All NEMA members (individual, institutional, institutional affiliates, and corporate) will now have access to guaranteed life insurance for themsleves, their employees, and their trustees starting at the discounted rate of $6.18 per month. No physical is required and no pre-existing conditions disqualify enrollment. Coverage is through Unum Life Insurance Company of Portland, Maine.

Short and Long-term Disability Insurance Unum is also offering NEMA members access to long-term disability insurance, which would provide up to $6,000 per month to age 65. Short-term disability programs are also available providing up to 60% of an individual's salary for up to 26 weeks.

Vision/Dental Insurance
 NEMA members can choose

 from several

 discounted eye care plans through Vision Choice

Plan (VSP) starting at $6.54 per month. Dental insurance is available through Reliance Standard; rates vary based on where members reside. Individual and family plans are available for both programs.

401(k) Programs  John Hancock is offering a retirement plan investment platform that allows NEMA Institutional members to enroll its employees in a 401(k) pension program. Members receive group pricing for administration fees.
