Institution description
We are a Historical Society dedicated to telling the story of the history of Eastern Maine as it coalesced around the Dennys River watershed. We operate the Academy /Vestry Museum in Dennsyville featuring summer exhibitions and our collections management system. Our historical and genealogical archives are publicly accessible at the Lincoln Memorial Public Library, in Dennysville. Our goal is to integrate historical preservation, research and education with the economic, social and spiritual life of the community.
